Accounts Assistant – Finance Support

About the role

GSF Services SMC PVT LTD is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Assistant to join its finance team in Karachi. The role focuses on accurate financial data entry, daily bank reconciliations, invoice processing, and maintaining customer and supplier accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily bank reconciliations, investigate variances and resolve discrepancies.
• Import, validate and reconcile financial data from operational systems.
• Maintain manual records of customer and supplier statements and ensure proper reconciliation.
• Monitor aged receivables and payables, liaise with stakeholders to resolve outstanding items.
• Prepare payment vouchers and process supplier payments in line with company policies.
• Support month‑end closing activities, including account reconciliations and accruals.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and manage finance shared drives and document management systems.
• Monitor finance inboxes and respond promptly to supplier and internal queries.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Good communication skills for cross‑departmental coordination.
