AI Instructor (3-Month Contract)

About the role

Edversity, part of the Rapidev Group of Companies, runs physical IT training classes to prepare young people for jobs and freelancing in technology. It is hiring an AI Instructor for a 3-month onsite contract in Faisalabad, teaching practical artificial intelligence from Python basics to building Generative AI applications. Trainees are mostly fresh graduates, final-year students and newcomers to the industry, so lessons start from the basics and are explained in simple English and Urdu.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily lectures and hands-on labs according to the approved curriculum
• Break complex AI concepts into simple, practical steps for beginners
• Prepare lesson plans, slides, notebooks, assignments and quizzes
• Guide trainees through mini-projects and the final capstone
• Track attendance, assess progress and submit reports to the program team
• Run extra support sessions for trainees who fall behind
• Keep course material current with new AI tools and suggest improvements
• Advise trainees on portfolios, GitHub profiles and job or freelancing opportunities
• Support assessments, audits and program reviews

Required profile

• BS or MS in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in AI/ML or AI application development
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly in English and Urdu
• Patience and genuine interest in teaching beginners

Required skills

• Strong Python, Pandas and Scikit-learn; working knowledge of TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, LangChain or LlamaIndex and vector databases
• Experience deploying at least one AI model or application
• Preferred: a public GitHub or portfolio of AI projects, certifications such as TensorFlow Developer, Azure AI Engineer or AWS Machine Learning, and previous teaching, training or mentoring experience
