AI Strategy Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an AI Strategy Consultant with 8‑15 years of experience to advise clients on AI adoption, road‑mapping, operating‑model design and use‑case prioritisation. The role involves turning AI ambition into fundable, sequenced plans for senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead AI maturity assessments using structured diagnostic frameworks.
• Build multi‑horizon AI roadmaps (12/24/36‑month) and sequence use cases by value, feasibility and dependency.
• Design AI operating models (CoE, hub‑and‑spoke, federated) and define funding/charge‑back mechanisms.
• Run use‑case discovery workshops, score and prioritise portfolios using RICE and value‑effort matrices.
• Own AI portfolio management, stage‑gating and investment reallocation across the pipeline.
• Facilitate C‑suite and board workshops to align AI ambition, risk appetite and adoption plans.

Required profile

• 8‑15+ years in strategy/management consulting, with 3+ years focused on AI or digital transformation.
• Technical fluency in AI/ML architectures, model types and data requirements.
• Experience designing AI operating models, governance charters and funding mechanisms.
• Comfortable reviewing technical architecture documents and PoC results.
• Executive‑level communication and facilitation skills.
