AI Technical Lead (Remote)

About the role

This full‑time remote position focuses on advancing frontier AI models through rigorous evaluation, failure analysis, and iterative development. You will bridge real‑world problems with structured evaluation frameworks, driving measurable performance gains across finance, healthcare, and engineering domains.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end research and evaluation initiatives, from problem framing to signal validation.
• Design machine‑learning‑oriented data systems, including task definitions, annotation schemas, rubrics, incentives, and pipelines.
• Analyze model and system failures to uncover root causes, edge cases, and improvement opportunities.
• Translate ambiguous real‑world behavior into structured evaluation frameworks and new data categories.
• Iterate rapidly on evaluations, datasets, and feedback loops to enhance model and system performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in AI/ML research signal judgment and evaluation design.
• Strong background in ML‑focused data design and annotation schema creation.
• Ability to convert operational insights into research‑ready specifications.
• Hands‑on experience with reinforcement learning environments or similar evaluation systems.
• Experience building and maintaining high‑velocity data pipelines in production.
