Assistant Accountant – Finance Operations (AR Focus)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Operations team in the Pakistan office. The role will primarily handle Accounts Receivable while also supporting reconciliations, reporting, and general finance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer contracts to ensure accurate data before invoicing.
• Prepare and issue sales invoices, adjustments and credit notes.
• Track outstanding receivables, follow up with customers and escalate overdue cases.
• Record and allocate customer payments (bank transfers, cheques, Adyen, Checkout) in the ERP system.
• Support AR reconciliations, maintain aging and collection trackers.
• Assist with monthly bank reconciliations, routine GL entries and month‑end close activities.
• Prepare supporting schedules and reports for management and audit purposes.

Required profile

• ACCA student/affiliate (preferred) or finance/accounting graduate from a reputable university.
• 1–1.5 years of accounting or finance operations experience, preferably with AR exposure.
• Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Sage.
• Advanced MS Excel functions.
