Assistant Accountant

About the role

RS Processing, a hosiery garment dyeing business in Faisalabad, is looking for an Assistant Accountant to support its financial administration. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks and ensuring accurate record‑keeping while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Record purchase, sales, expense, cash, and bank transactions accurately.
• Maintain ledgers, vouchers, invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and petty‑cash monitoring.
• Prepare routine summaries, schedules, and reports for management review.
• Support month‑end closing activities and resolve discrepancies in accounting records.
• Coordinate with internal departments to verify production‑related expenses and documentation.
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems while protecting financial information.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and double‑entry bookkeeping.
• Ability to prepare journal entries, vouchers, invoices, ledgers, and account reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills for data entry, formulas, sorting and filtering.
• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems and willingness to learn company processes.
• Accurate handling of cash, bank, payable, receivable, and expense records.
• Good numerical accuracy, analytical thinking, and discrepancy‑resolution abilities.
• Ability to manage deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and communicate clearly with colleagues.
