Assistant Key Account Manager - Digital Commerce

About the role

Unilever is hiring an Assistant Key Account Manager - Digital Commerce (WL1) in Karachi, reporting to the Ecommerce Lead within the Customer Development function. The role covers the B2C channel and focuses on building and executing customer strategies and business plans on a category basis, with full-time employment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end P&L for the B2C channel, owning sales targets, TTS, BMI, GM and PBO
• Design and implement brand-wise, business-group-wise and e-tailer-wise strategies to grow market share and optimise assortment mix, in line with operations, campaigns and performance marketing
• Build and maintain relationships with e-tailers to negotiate and execute counterpart agreements
• Work with Brand, Customer Marketing and Finance to build monthly business plans including budgets, promos, campaigns and media
• Work with the data analytics team to identify trends across digital channels and e-tailers and optimise offerings and campaigns
• Manage day-to-day operations and partnerships with e-commerce aggregators and distributors, aligning on sales targets, supply chain efficiency and payment terms
• Build monthly promotional and discount plans and use performance data to scale what works and stop low-value activity
• Act as category integrator across brand, CSP, media, digital, supply, finance and ecommerce customers

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years' experience in Customer Development in the FMCG industry, preferably in sales or key account management
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Experience working in cross-functional teams
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills with senior stakeholders
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
• Leadership qualities: balance of challenge and support, understanding of the wider business context, and ability to motivate others
