Assistant Manager – Accounting & Taxation

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Accounting & Taxation will lead accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance and advisory services for our KSA client portfolio across real estate, advisory, crypto trading and business centre operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all general ledger activities and ensure compliance with IFRS and KSA/SOCPA standards.
• Manage full‑cycle accounting for multiple group entities, including month‑end closing, accruals, provisions, fixed assets and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, consolidations and management reports.
• Conduct variance analysis, budgeting reviews and financial modelling to support internal decision‑making.
• Oversee KSA tax compliance – VAT, Zakat, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax – including preparation and filing of returns, payments and correspondence with ZATCA.
• Ensure e‑invoicing/Fatoora compliance, coordinate with ERP systems and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Review cross‑border payments, inter‑company transactions and related‑party arrangements from a tax perspective.
• Coordinate audit activities, liaise with clients, internal teams, banks, external advisors and regulatory authorities.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, KSA/SOCPA accounting standards and KSA tax regulations.
• Experience managing full‑cycle accounting and month‑end close for diversified business units.
• Proven ability to handle VAT, Zakat, corporate tax and e‑invoicing compliance in Saudi Arabia.
• Excellent analytical skills with experience in financial reporting, variance analysis and budgeting.
• Effective client relationship management and coordination with auditors, banks and regulatory bodies.
