Assistant Manager - Accounts & Reporting

About the role

ACCA is seeking an Assistant Manager for Accounts & Reporting to join its Finance team in Lahore. Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller (APAC), you will ensure the accuracy of transactions and financial reports while supporting robust accounting and tax processes.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and complete all financial transactions to guarantee accurate periodic reporting.
• Maintain documented controls over accounting entries and ensure compliance with company policies and Pakistan finance regulations.
• Assist the RFC in performing key financial tasks, developing new procedures, and delivering timely financial information.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts promptly and keep lead schedules up‑to‑date.
• Follow the Group Financial Controller’s timetable for financial close processes.
• Prepare and update performance reporting packs for the RFC.
• Collaborate with local market teams to explain material variances and document risks.
• Provide information to external auditors for the annual audit and drive service improvements.

Required profile

• Strong accounting and tax knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and capable of working independently to meet strict deadlines.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Good IT proficiency with solid experience using Windows‑based applications.
