Assistant Manager - Analytics

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager – Analytics to lead data‑driven campaign initiatives within our Retail Banking Group. The role combines deep analytical expertise with hands‑on campaign management to improve customer engagement and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute and monitor end‑to‑end marketing campaigns across channels.
• Build and maintain customer segmentation models using CDP and other tools.
• Analyse campaign performance, attribution and ROI, providing actionable insights.
• Develop and implement A/B tests and experimental designs to optimise customer journeys.
• Produce regular reports and dashboards using Power BI or Tableau for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate data insights into strategic decisions.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy in large datasets stored in Hadoop, Hive, and Data Lake environments.
• Lead analytical projects and continuously improve campaign effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in campaign management, marketing or customer analytics, preferably in banking, financial services or telecom.
• Proven track record of end‑to‑end campaign execution and performance measurement.
• Strong analytical and statistical problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment handling multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL query writing, optimization and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and segmentation tools.
• Proficiency in Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, Zeppelin) and Data Lake environments.
• Working knowledge of Power BI or Tableau for reporting and visualization.
• Familiarity with A/B testing, experimental design and customer journey analytics.
