Assistant Manager - Client Services

About the role

As an Assistant Manager (SV‑11) at Savvital you will own a portfolio of client accounts while leading a cluster of Lead Associates, Senior Associates and Associates. You act as the strategic bridge between client services teams and senior management, ensuring high‑quality delivery, client satisfaction and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned client accounts end‑to‑end, delivering consistent, high‑quality service and building long‑term trust.
• Serve as a strategic partner to clients, understanding their business goals, workflows and industry priorities.
• Identify operational risks, drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and resolve issues before they affect service.
• Lead, mentor and coach the cluster’s Leads, Senior Associates and Associates, setting performance standards and fostering a collaborative culture.
• Conduct regular check‑ins on client health, workload balance and team dynamics to prevent burnout and maintain motivation.
• Collaborate with Team Leads and Customer Success to flag at‑risk accounts, develop retention strategies and execute mitigation plans.
• Maintain visibility of high‑, medium‑ and low‑risk accounts and keep senior leadership informed of critical decisions.
• Represent Savvital in client meetings, presenting insights and recommendations to drive growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in client‑facing or account‑management roles with a track record of delivering results.
• Strong leadership and people‑development capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate operational data into strategic actions.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously while aligning with broader organisational goals.
