Assistant Manager Design

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager Design to support the engineering team in delivering detailed designs for solar photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The role involves translating project requirements into accurate engineering drawings and calculations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings for solar PV and BESS installations.
• Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLD), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and cable routing layouts.
• Design AC and DC electrical systems, including equipment layouts for inverter, BESS, and switchgear rooms.
• Perform string sizing, inverter sizing, and cable sizing calculations.
• Create earthing and lightning protection designs.
• Design mounting structures based on site-specific conditions.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering background with experience in renewable energy projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical documentation.
• Good understanding of electrical standards and safety requirements.
