Assistant Manager – English (Examination Unit)

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Examination Unit – English supports the planning, development, implementation and quality assurance of assessments across TCF schools. You will create high‑quality exam resources, monitor standards and collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve examination reliability and effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality examination papers, marking schemes, rubrics and related assessment resources.
• Ensure all assessments align with curriculum, learning outcomes and organisational quality standards.
• Review and revise assessment materials based on feedback, moderation outcomes and post‑exam analysis.
• Support continuous improvement of examination processes, templates and guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with examination policies, timelines and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with Curriculum, M&E, Federal, Training and other departments to ensure alignment between curriculum, teaching and assessment.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in English (or related discipline) with English as a major at bachelor level; B.Ed. or equivalent is an advantage.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience in English at primary, middle or secondary level.
• Strong command of English language and literature.
• Understanding of curriculum design, learning taxonomies and educational assessment principles.
• Excellent analytical, report‑writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
