Assistant Manager Finance

About the role

The Assistant Manager Finance will support the treasury and cash management functions, ensuring accurate reconciliation and reporting across banking and investment activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly bank and cash reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions on transactions, documentation, and confirmations.
• Manage daily cash positions, cash flows, and liquidity to meet operational needs.
• Coordinate centralization of branch cash, including deposits, transfers, monitoring, and reconciliation.
• Record, reconcile, and monitor investment transactions in line with IFRS requirements.
• Maintain accurate accounting records for bank, cash, treasury, and investment transactions and support month‑end/year‑end closing.
• Provide reconciliations, schedules, confirmations, and supporting documentation to internal and external auditors.
• Ensure effective internal controls, compliance, documentation, and audit trails over cash, banking, treasury, and investment activities.
• Prepare cash, bank, treasury, investment, and management reports, highlighting significant variances or unusual transactions.

Required profile

• CA Finalist or ACCA qualified with articles completed at a top‑tier firm.
• 2–3 years of banking experience in finance and treasury functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in bank reconciliation processes.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards for investment transactions.
• Experience with cash management and treasury operations.
