Assistant Manager – Power Operations

About the role

Sky47 is seeking an Assistant Manager – Power Operations to support the Manager Electrical in ensuring safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operation of all electrical systems within its data centre facility in Islamabad.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day electrical operations, respond to faults and emergencies, and ensure activities follow SOPs, PTW and LOTO procedures.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of transformers, diesel generator sets, UPS systems, battery banks, switchgear, ATS, busways, PDUs and LV panels.
• Monitor and manage DCIM, BMS and ELV systems including access control, CCTV and fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with Uptime Institute standards and local regulations.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning and integration of electrical systems for Tier III and Tier IV projects.
• Lead and mentor technical teams, liaise with vendors/OEMs, maintain maintenance records and prepare operational reports.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in electrical systems operation and maintenance, with at least 4 years in a data centre or mission‑critical environment.
• B.E./B.Sc./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Relevant data‑centre certifications (e.g., CDCP, CDCS, CDFOM) preferred.
