Assistant Manager – Quality Control

About the role

Hamdard Pakistan is seeking an Assistant Manager – Quality Control to lead and supervise quality control activities within its manufacturing operations in Karachi. The role ensures compliance with SOPs, GMP and regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all quality control activities to meet company and regulatory standards.
• Review, verify and approve testing, inspection and analytical results for raw materials, in‑process items and finished products.
• Monitor quality parameters and ensure consistency and reliability across production batches.
• Investigate deviations, non‑conformances and complaints, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain comprehensive QC documentation and prepare detailed quality reports for management.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance and other departments to resolve quality issues and support improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality control within pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with proven team‑leadership experience.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams and maintain strict adherence to SOPs and GMP.
