Assistant Manager System Admin

About the role

The Assistant Manager System Admin will ensure the smooth operation of Oracle and source databases, oversee performance tuning, and generate Management Information System (MIS) reports. This role supports both the historical information system and SAP PM processes while adhering to company policies and security governance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain logical database structures and verify database logs across sites.
• Validate and manage database backups and perform daily health checks of Oracle Forms, reports, and programmable scripts.
• Synchronize databases, monitor historian performance, and oversee daily backup routines.
• Create and close corrective and preventive work orders in SAP PM.
• Follow HSE safety procedures and departmental guidelines.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in Oracle database administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer, Software, IT or related field.
• Database certification is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronics, computer systems, cyber security and software development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
