Assistant Manager Warehouse Operations

About the role

Imtiaz Group (Private) Limited is hiring an Assistant Manager Warehouse Operations for its facility in Port Qasim, Karachi. The role suits experienced warehouse and supply chain professionals with strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse systems, team supervision and logistics operations. It is a management position requiring at least 10 years of relevant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse activities so that goods are received, stored, processed and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
• Supervise receiving, storage, material handling, picking, packing, labeling and dispatch, ensuring orders are processed on time.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP, SAP or WMS, and manage Goods Receipt Notes, Material Transfer Notes and daily Material Receiving Reports.
• Monitor inventory records and investigate discrepancies; apply FIFO and FEFO, and conduct regular cycle counts.
• Assign daily tasks, provide on-the-job training, support audits and ensure staff follow operating procedures.
• Coordinate with supply chain and store operations teams to support timely stock replenishment and dispatch.
• Identify process improvements, allocate staff, machinery and storage space according to workload and season, and maintain operational standards.

Required profile

• MBA in Supply Chain Management or a related field from a reputable university.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in warehousing or supply chain management.
• Ability to supervise teams and coordinate with supply chain and store operations teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Familiarity with SAP and warehouse-related transactions
• Understanding of stock rotation, cycle counting and inventory accuracy
• Leadership, coordination and problem-solving abilities
