Assistant Manager – WordPress Developer

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager – WordPress Developer to join our Marketing team in Karachi. You will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining high‑performing WordPress sites, landing pages, and microsites that support our digital campaigns and lead‑generation efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, landing pages, and microsites aligned with marketing initiatives.
• Implement onsite SEO best practices, including metadata, heading structure, internal linking, schema markup, and URL optimization.
• Optimize website performance – page speed, mobile responsiveness, Core Web Vitals, and overall technical health.
• Collaborate with designers, content writers, and marketing stakeholders to deliver timely website updates.
• Manage WordPress environments: plugins, themes, backups, security monitoring, and bug fixing.
• Monitor website health and SEO performance using analytics and webmaster tools, providing actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, UX/UI standards, accessibility, and modern development practices.
• Stay current with WordPress trends, SEO techniques, and digital best practices.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on WordPress development and website management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in a marketing, digital, or agency environment is preferred.
