Assistant Professor – Human Nutrition & Dietetics

About the role

Riphah International University seeks an Assistant Professor specializing in Human Nutrition and Dietetics to join its academic faculty on a remote basis. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality lectures, develop curriculum, and advance research in nutritional assessment and biochemistry.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures and practical sessions on human nutrition, nutritional assessment, and nutritional biochemistry.
• Develop, update, and maintain curriculum content aligned with current scientific research and dietary guidelines.
• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and integrate findings into educational materials and clinical guidelines.
• Engage in scholarly research, publish in peer‑reviewed journals, and contribute to the university’s academic reputation.
• Supervise and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and program development activities.
• Assist in preparing academic reports, grant applications, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders to enhance educational and research initiatives.
• Stay current with advancements in nutrition science and integrate relevant developments into teaching and research.
• Promote an inclusive, engaging learning environment.

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant subject (Human Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field).
• Minimum five years of university‑level teaching experience.
• At least two years experience as a Senior Lecturer or Lecturer.
• Strong background in nutritional sciences with focus on assessment and biochemistry.
