Assistant Professor – Undergraduate Teaching (Multiple Subjects)

About the role

The university is seeking an Assistant Professor to join its undergraduate teaching faculty. The successful candidate will deliver lectures and tutorials across a range of disciplines, including English, Mathematics, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Studies, Accounts, Law, and Business, at campuses in Karachi, Islamabad and Gujranwala.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lectures and tutorials for undergraduate courses.
• Develop course materials, assignments, and assessment tools aligned with the curriculum.
• Evaluate student performance through exams, projects, and continuous assessment.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and faculty committees.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge in assigned subject areas and incorporate best teaching practices.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the graduation (undergraduate) level.
• Academic qualifications meeting the Higher Education Commission (HEC) criteria for the respective subjects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to teach diverse student groups.
