Assistant Project Manager – Badin

About the role

The Assistant Project Manager will supervise on‑site construction and maintenance activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This role involves handling post‑construction issues, conducting land surveys, and preparing detailed reports for the line manager.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction site activities and ensure compliance with design, contract, and TCF standards.
• Prepare and manage Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Bill of Services (BBS).
• Conduct land surveys, soil testing, and other quality‑related tests as required.
• Monitor project progress, report cost and scope variances, and prepare punch lists after field inspections.
• Verify contractor bills, validate compliance with drawings and specifications, and ensure timely milestone completion.
• Prepare and present regular status reports to the line manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, BTech, or DAE.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of building construction experience for BE graduates, 5‑7 years for BTech, or 7‑10 years for DAE holders.

Required skills

• Quantity surveying – BOQ & BBS preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing drawings.
• Knowledge of soil, topography, and structural design principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software.
• Experience with construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
