Assistant Sales Manager

About the role

The Assistant Sales Manager will drive vehicle sales by generating leads, engaging prospective customers, and converting prospects into successful bookings and deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual vehicle sales targets.
• Generate leads through walk‑ins, referrals, calls, digital platforms and other channels.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicle models and variants.
• Explain vehicle features, specifications, pricing, financing, warranties and after‑sales services.
• Conduct professional product presentations and coordinate test drives.
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline and follow up consistently with prospects.
• Prepare quotations and booking documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with Finance, Insurance, Registration and Delivery teams to ensure smooth vehicle delivery.
• Update customer and sales information in CRM/DMS systems.
• Monitor competitor products, pricing, promotions and market trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce or related field.
• 3‑5 years of sales experience, preferably in automotive dealerships, retail or consumer sales.
• Fresh graduates with strong communication and sales potential may be considered for entry‑level positions.
• Valid driving licence preferred.
