Assistant Video Editor

About the role

The Assistant Video Editor role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Lahore. It supports the video production team by assembling raw footage, organizing media assets, and helping create polished video content for marketing, training, and client‑facing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and trim raw footage, organize media assets, and maintain an orderly file structure.
• Perform basic color correction, add transitions, and create simple motion‑graphics elements.
• Collaborate with senior editors and designers, follow creative briefs, and manage project timelines.
• Prepare optimized exports for multiple platforms and regularly back up projects.

Required profile

• Proficiency in video editing, color grading, and motion‑graphics creation.
• Strong attention to detail, time‑management skills, and ability to follow brand guidelines.
• Effective communication and collaboration within cross‑functional creative teams.
• Relevant education or certification in film, media, design, or a related field, with a portfolio or showreel.
