Assistant Warehousing Manager

About the role

As an Assistant Warehousing Manager you will support the head of warehousing in overseeing Unilever’s ice‑cream storage and repacking operations at the Karachi head office. You will ensure cost‑efficient handling of ambient, chilled and frozen goods while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all TMICC warehousing and distribution networks, including ambient, chilled and frozen segments.
• Monitor daily warehousing operations, stock control and inventory accuracy.
• Oversee domestic transport, distribution activities and repacking operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage relationships with third‑party logistics providers, including negotiations, tender preparation and contract execution.
• Control costs for warehousing, transportation, repacking and customs services.
• Collaborate with Unilever European Logistics Team (USCC) on KPI design, reporting and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and employer procedures.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in warehousing, transportation or related logistics functions.
• Practical knowledge of warehousing, transportation and customs issues.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP, WMS or SAP systems.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment.
