Associate, Demand Planning

About the role

As an Associate in Demand Planning you will support the end‑to‑end supply chain for foodpanda’s marketplace. You will create replenishment plans, monitor inventory health and collaborate with commercial and supplier teams to ensure product availability.

Key responsibilities

• Create daily and weekly replenishment plans on a supplier level using inventory parameters, sell‑out data and forecast.
• Participate in S&OP forecast meetings and adjust forecasts as needed.
• Calculate supply plans based on generated demand forecasts.
• Maintain and update weekly/monthly supply planning files and KPI reports.
• Ensure healthy inventory levels in distribution centres and stores, meeting target days‑cover and shrinkage goals.
• Work closely with the commercial team to align forecast adjustments.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers and drive fulfillment performance.
• Monitor supplier issues, flag slow‑moving SKUs and inventory with no movement for 28 days, and drive corrective actions.
• Support cross‑functional projects and resolve supply‑related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Economics or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in demand or supply planning, preferably in FMCG, grocery retail or e‑commerce.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Highly detail‑oriented, autonomous and comfortable in a fast‑changing environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset.

• SQL
