Associate Director – Acumen Academy Pakistan

About the role

Acumen Pakistan seeks an experienced leader to head Acumen Academy’s operations in Pakistan. Reporting to the Global Head of Acumen Academy, the Associate Director will drive the implementation of a new strategic direction, overseeing the Acumen Fellowship and The Foundry programs.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale Acumen Academy Pakistan in line with the global strategy.
• Lead a team based in Islamabad, managing day‑to‑day operations and program delivery.
• Maintain and expand partnerships with funders, NGOs, and private sector allies.
• Secure funding and resources for flagship programs and new initiatives.
• Champion the Acumen Academy brand locally, collaborating with global communications.
• Work directly with Fellows, the global team, and external stakeholders to ensure impact.

Required profile

• Minimum 14 years of experience in social entrepreneurship, enterprise incubation, acceleration, or executive leadership development.
• Proven track record of leading high‑performing teams and managing multi‑stakeholder programs.
• Deep understanding of Pakistan’s social‑impact ecosystem.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
