Associate Director Quality

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for leading quality assurance and patient safety initiatives across the hospital. Reporting to the Chief Quality Officer, the role oversees the development, implementation and monitoring of the hospital‑wide Quality Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage the hospital‑wide Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Program aligned with organizational objectives.
• Lead the Quality team, ensuring departmental goals, compliance requirements and accreditation standards (ISO/JCIA) are met.
• Develop, maintain and continuously improve a corporate‑wide Quality Management System (QMS) that supports patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee incident reporting, root‑cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive strategies.
• Plan, coordinate and conduct internal and external quality audits, including accreditation surveys, and present strategic recommendations.
• Develop and report quality indicators and KPIs to senior management, driving data‑driven improvement.
• Establish hospital‑wide training programs on quality improvement and patient safety for all staff.

Required profile

• MBBS / BDS / Pharm D / MScN / MSc Health Care Management / MBA / BSN or equivalent degree.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in quality management, audits, compliance and process improvement within healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, quality assurance and control methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Excellent leadership, teamwork and communication skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of national and international healthcare standards (JCI, ISO/JCIA).
