Associate I - Internal Audit

About the role

Join PwC's Internal Audit team in Karachi as an Associate I, supporting clients across industries with audit and assurance services. You will help maintain accurate financial records and contribute to the delivery of internal audit solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support general ledger accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Review and reconcile balance‑sheet and GL accounts, investigating discrepancies.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as required.
• Maintain supporting documentation and accounting schedules.
• Assist in preparing basic financial reports and analyses.
• Follow established accounting processes, controls, and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve accounting queries and outstanding items.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and GL accounting.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication, organization, and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
