Associate Manager – Risk & Compliance

About the role

The Associate Manager – Risk & Compliance will safeguard the working environment across our Karachi stores by leading security operations, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You will work closely with law‑enforcement, internal teams, and the Loss Prevention Committee to minimise risk and protect assets.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to safety, security, HSE, and company risk‑management policies.
• Investigate theft, fraud, ethics violations and policy breaches, preserving evidence and documentation.
• Lead emergency response activities and conduct regular employee preparedness training.
• Coordinate with law‑enforcement and regulatory bodies for legal compliance and incident management.
• Participate in Loss Prevention Committee meetings and implement action plans to reduce shrinkage.
• Perform inspections and audits of security and safety systems (CCTV, fire alarms, firefighting equipment, access control, EAS).
• Maintain a secure, customer‑friendly shopping environment through proactive monitoring and risk assessments.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on investigations, incidents, security breaches, safety hazards and compliance matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal, Finance, Military, Law Enforcement or a closely related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role, with at least 2 years in retail.
• Previous experience in Law Enforcement, Military, or Investigations is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and organisational skills.
