Associate Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

Long Life Surgical Industry is seeking an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to join its Sialkot team. The role focuses on creating and revising detailed mechanical drawings that support the production of surgical equipment, ensuring precision and manufacturability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and modify complex mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
• Provide clear design clarifications and technical drawings to the production department.
• Assist in designing jigs, fixtures, and basic tooling to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Collaborate with production and workshop teams to implement designs and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain organized design records and manage drawing revisions for traceability.
• Interpret workshop processes to create practical, manufacturable designs.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in mechanical design or related engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of mechanical technology principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work accurately under tight production schedules.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Experience with Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) and 3D modeling.
• Ability to produce technical drawings and detailed drafts.
• Knowledge of designing jigs, fixtures, and basic tooling.
