About the role

Riphah International University seeks a dedicated Associate Professor to join the Department of Media and Communication at the Riphah Institute of Media Sciences. The position involves high‑quality teaching, research supervision, and curriculum development to align with academic standards and industry needs.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in media and communication with clarity and engagement.
• Supervise student research projects, providing guidance and feedback to ensure academic rigor and timely completion.
• Contribute to the design, review, and updating of curriculum to reflect current academic and industry standards.
• Conduct original research and prepare papers for presentation at national and international conferences.
• Apply advanced research methodologies in teaching and scholarly activities to foster critical thinking.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
• Ensure compliance with university and Higher Education Commission policies related to teaching and research.

Required profile

• PhD in Media and Communication from an HEC‑recognized institution.
• Minimum five years of relevant academic experience.
• Strong commitment to academic rigor, continuous professional development, and adherence to HEC eligibility standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance educational and research excellence.
