Associate Professor of Physics (Remote)

About the role

Riphah International University seeks a dedicated Associate Professor of Physics to join its faculty on a remote basis. The successful candidate will contribute to both teaching excellence and cutting‑edge research, enhancing the department’s academic reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality lectures and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate physics courses.
• Develop, review, and update curriculum content to reflect current scientific advancements.
• Conduct original research and publish findings in HEC‑recognized journals, maintaining a strong recent publication record.
• Apply advanced research methodologies and data analysis tools in experimental and theoretical physics projects.
• Supervise and mentor postgraduate students, guiding at least five M.Phil theses and one Ph.D. thesis to successful defense.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings, seminars, and collaborative research initiatives.
• Engage in community outreach to promote physics education beyond the university.

Required profile

• PhD in Physics from an HEC‑recognized university or equivalent foreign qualification.
• Minimum six years of university‑level teaching experience.
• At least fifteen peer‑reviewed research papers published in recognized journals.
• Proven record of curriculum development and postgraduate supervision.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and scholarly contribution.
