Associate Software Engineer - Data+AI

About the role

Devsinc is seeking a motivated Associate Software Engineer focused on Data and AI. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates or engineers with up to one year of experience who want to build production‑grade AI applications, backend services, and scalable data pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in building and deploying AI/ML models, LLM‑powered applications, and intelligent automation solutions.
• Support development of Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, embeddings, vector search, and AI inference systems.
• Develop and maintain Python‑based APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Create ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation workflows.
• Work with databases, cloud platforms, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines under senior mentorship.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or a related field.
• 1+ year of professional experience in AI/ML, backend development, or data engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in Python, SQL, object‑oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, and databases.
• Basic knowledge of machine learning, natural language processing, large language models, RAG, embeddings, or vector databases.
• Problem‑solving mindset, good communication skills, and eagerness to learn.
