Associate Software Engineer

About the role

Mavericks United is seeking recent or upcoming graduates to join its fast‑growing tech services team as Associate Software Engineers. You will work on full‑stack projects for global partners, gaining exposure to cutting‑edge startups in the US and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and international stakeholders to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern frameworks and libraries.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee code quality.
• Continuously learn new technologies and contribute to code reviews.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (or graduating Summer 2026) with a passion for software development.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new frameworks.

Required skills

• Experience with at least one major web framework (e.g., Django, Express.js, Spring Boot).
• Familiarity with front‑end libraries such as React, Vue.js or Angular.
• Knowledge of testing tools (e.g., Jest) and ORM libraries (e.g., SQLAlchemy).
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Ruby, Java, C# or PHP.
• Understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and RESTful API design.
