Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

Contour is transitioning its dealer management systems to a managed SaaS platform on Microsoft Azure. The Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer will design, build, and automate the Azure infrastructure that powers this platform, ensuring repeatable, version‑controlled deployments and reliable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain a Bicep codebase that defines the complete Azure footprint, using reusable modules for tenant provisioning.
• Manage remote state, environment separation, drift detection and policy‑as‑code to enforce compliance.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, database schema and application artefacts, supporting safe promotion and rollback.
• Operate Azure Virtual Desktop services, including host pools, session hosts, application groups and FSLogix profile containers.
• Build and support the multi‑tenant hosting platform for web products with version‑specific routing.
• Administer SQL Anywhere 17 and PostgreSQL 18 databases and facilitate migration between them.
• Define service objectives, implement monitoring and alerting, and conduct disaster‑recovery rehearsals.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and infrastructure‑as‑code concepts.
• Hands‑on expertise in Bicep or similar ARM templating languages.
• Proven ability to design automated, repeatable deployment processes.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and related components (FSLogix, Azure Files, NetApp Files).
• Background in managing SQL Anywhere and PostgreSQL databases in cloud environments.
