About the role

The Bank Branch Manager will lead a team of seven professionals at HBL’s Islamabad branch, overseeing all daily operations and driving business growth. The role focuses on achieving high deposit targets, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring strict compliance with banking regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and evaluate a team of 7 staff members to ensure efficient branch operations.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet deposit targets ranging from 900 million to 1 billion.
• Manage customer relationships, resolve inquiries promptly, and enhance client satisfaction.
• Implement risk‑management procedures to identify, assess and mitigate financial, operational and compliance risks.
• Monitor branch performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Ensure adherence to all banking regulations and internal policies.
• Oversee cash management, account maintenance and administrative functions.
• Drive process improvements to increase productivity and improve the client experience.
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to align objectives and support professional development.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in the banking sector.
• Proven leadership experience managing a team.
• Strong background in sales management, customer relationship management and risk control.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
