BI Analyst

About the role

We are expanding our marketplace and analytics team to solve complex marketplace problems at scale. As a BI Analyst you will turn data into compelling stories, uncover hidden opportunities, and support strategic decisions across pricing, supply‑demand balance and product funnels.

Key responsibilities

• Define, instrument, and maintain business‑critical metrics using advanced SQL and other tools.
• Drive marketplace decisions such as pricing, supply/demand balancing, customer subsidies and strategic shifts.
• Develop deep understanding of customers, partner‑drivers and vendors to inform engagement and product recommendations.
• Design and run experiments, build dashboards and visualisations for cross‑functional decision‑making.
• Answer complex business questions through ad‑hoc SQL queries and visualisations.
• Integrate insights from multiple data sources to create actionable market and consumer strategies.
• Partner with the data‑engineering team to build and maintain ETL pipelines, ensuring low‑latency, scalable data access.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics or a related field.
• 5+ years of post‑education experience in analytics, business intelligence, market research or a similar domain.
• Proven ability to gather business requirements, extract data with BI tools, and create metrics and reports.
• Experience working with large‑scale, complex datasets and statistical modelling.
• Preference for candidates with Python, R, data‑visualisation tools and automation experience.
