Bid Manager

About the role

Lead end‑to‑end tenders for high‑voltage substation projects that strengthen Pakistan's national grid, coordinating engineering, procurement, finance and legal experts to deliver winning, technically sound proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full bid lifecycle from tender analysis to submission of compliant technical and commercial proposals.
• Analyse client tender documents and define bid strategy and value proposition in collaboration with sales and customer relations.
• Consolidate engineering, procurement and project management inputs into cost estimates and pricing models.
• Conduct technical, commercial and legal risk assessments and obtain internal approvals.
• Ensure compliance with local tax, import/export controls and corporate governance standards.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors, vendors and partners, and participate in client negotiations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Power Engineering with strong foundation in grid technologies and substation systems.
• 5‑8 years of experience in bid, proposal or tender management within the substation, power transmission or broader energy sector.
• Proven track record of managing large‑scale infrastructure tenders in Pakistan or the Middle East.
• Strong commercial acumen, cost estimation and pricing strategy skills.
• Solid understanding of risk assessment, mitigation and regulatory compliance in Pakistan's energy sector.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities to steer cross‑functional teams under tight deadlines.
