Big Data Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Big Data Architect to lead the design, development and maintenance of our enterprise Big Data platform. You will work closely with Data Engineers, Business Analysts and BI engineers to deliver high‑quality, production‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the roadmap and enhancements for the enterprise Big Data platform.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to architect and deliver solutions that meet business information needs.
• Ensure designs, code and processes are production‑ready, meeting operational, security and compliance standards.
• Participate in project and production delivery meetings and provide technical support for rapid issue resolution.
• Design and implement scalable, near real‑time data ingestion pipelines and streaming solutions with high throughput, reliability and fault tolerance.

Required profile

• 10‑14 years of experience in enterprise data architecture, integration and analytics.
• Proven track record designing and implementing big data and analytics solutions.
• Experience leading teams of Data Engineers and BI developers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (including trips to the UK).
