BIM Modeller – Electrical

About the role

We are looking for a skilled BIM Modeller – Electrical to join our Design & Engineering team and support the delivery of substation and electrical infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D BIM models in line with project specifications, LOD requirements, and BIM standards.
• Prepare and update electrical discipline models based on design inputs.
• Extract shop drawings, layouts, schedules, and construction documentation from BIM models.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve design issues.
• Maintain compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), CDE workflows, and project standards.
• Support quantity take‑offs, model‑based data extraction, and BIM deliverables.
• Coordinate with BIM Managers, engineers, designers, and site teams for smooth project execution.

Required profile

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of BIM experience with at least 1 year of site coordination exposure.
• Strong understanding of HV/MV/LV substation systems, including transformers, GIS/AIS, switchgear, protection panels, cable routing, and earthing/grounding.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and BIM coordination tools.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 BIM standards and electrical design principles & single line diagrams (SLDs).
