Biology Expert (PhD) – Remote AI Research

About the role

This position provides specialized biological expertise to support AI‑driven research initiatives. Working remotely, you will design and validate biological models that feed machine‑learning pipelines, ensuring scientific rigor in a healthcare‑adjacent domain.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑quality biological datasets for training AI models.
• Evaluate and refine biological features used in machine‑learning pipelines to boost performance.
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate diverse biological data sources into existing AI frameworks.
• Validate AI‑generated predictions through experimental evidence or literature review.
• Document methodologies and findings to support reproducibility and compliance with research protocols.

Required profile

• PhD in Biology, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience applying machine‑learning workflows to biological data.
• Ability to interpret AI model outputs in a biological context and communicate insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Python programming for data processing and analysis.
• R programming for statistical analysis.

• Experience with genomic, proteomic, or other high‑throughput datasets.
