About the role
The Boiler Engineer will lead the shift operations of the co‑generation plant and associated utilities, ensuring safe and efficient performance across multiple systems.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee overall operation of boilers, turbine house, cooling tower, coal crusher, lime crushing, ash handling, water treatment, compressed air, LPG/SNG and raw water systems.
- Maintain documentation such as logbooks, daily reports, SAP notifications, production and consumption data, and store issuances.
- Monitor quality of boiler feed water, blow‑down, process water and condensate, and manage canal water settling system.
- Control losses from steam, water, gas, air and condensate, and close valves in case of major leaks to meet KPI targets.
- Ensure safety devices, PPE compliance and environmental policies are adhered to.
Required profile
- 1st Class Boiler Competency Certificate.
- Experience operating and troubleshooting coal‑fired (CFB) boilers and water softening plants.
- Basic computer knowledge and good communication skills.
- Professional level English is desirable; SAP experience is advantageous.
