Business Analyst – Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management

About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst with 4‑6 years of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and medical billing. The role bridges business stakeholders, product teams and engineering to deliver scalable healthcare software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business, functional and system requirements.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops and discovery sessions.
• Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse and optimise RCM workflows, identifying automation and efficiency opportunities.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA, UI/UX designers throughout the product lifecycle.
• Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT and release readiness.
• Perform gap, root‑cause and impact analyses and map business processes.
• Support solution design and ensure alignment between requirements and technical implementation.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in Healthcare RCM, medical billing or related domains.
• Strong understanding of eligibility verification, prior authorization, claims lifecycle, adjudication, payment posting, ERA processing and denial management.
• Familiarity with payer‑provider workflows, reimbursement models and EDI transaction standards (270/271, 276/277, 278, 837, 835).
• Proven ability to translate complex business needs into functional specifications and solution designs.
