Business Development Executive – Freelance Platform Sales

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Business Development Executive to lead sales and client acquisition for our freelancing platform services. You will own the end‑to‑end bidding process on major freelance marketplaces, build high‑converting profiles from scratch, and close deals with global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise company profiles on Upwork, Fiverr, and Freelancer.
• Create, customise and submit persuasive proposals for relevant projects daily.
• Negotiate project scopes, pricing and terms to secure contracts.
• Maintain detailed logs of bidding activity, response rates and revenue outcomes.
• Track commissions and revenue against targets in collaboration with management.
• Onboard new clients, ensure smooth communication and aim for repeat business and 5‑star reviews.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of proven experience in business development or bidding within tech, software or creative sectors.
• Deep knowledge of Upwork, Fiverr and Freelancer algorithms and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Excellent written and verbal English with strong proposal writing skills.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and comfortable using CRM tools or spreadsheets.
