Business Development Executive – IVD

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to drive growth of our In‑Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) portfolio. You will identify new market opportunities, build relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, and support the sales pipeline for core IVD products.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the IVD and diagnostics market.
• Visit hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, blood banks and other healthcare institutions to generate leads and nurture relationships.
• Maintain relationships with KOLs, pathologists, laboratory heads, doctors and other key stakeholders.
• Promote core IVD products and support business development activities.
• Conduct market research to uncover potential customers and emerging opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations and other business documents.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Technical and Regulatory teams to address customer requirements.
• Follow up on leads and quotations to support sales conversion.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
• Report regularly on customer visits, leads, opportunities and development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Sciences, Business or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IVD, diagnostics, medical devices or healthcare.
• Basic understanding of the IVD/diagnostics market and products.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development activities.
