Business Development Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to manage the end‑to‑end bidding process for our custom web design and development services. The role involves generating new business through freelance platforms, converting projects into long‑term clients, and ensuring high client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts on freelance portals such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, Guru, and PeoplePerHour.
• Create business proposals, quotations and other client‑facing documents.
• Oversee the bidding process and direct marketing under the supervision of the Digital Sales & Marketing Manager.
• Generate new business by bidding daily on freelance portals and converting wins into long‑term sales.
• Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to meet client requirements.
• Monitor and measure client satisfaction, handling communications via call, email or chat.
• Optimize the revenue‑generating funnel and troubleshoot client requests.
• Research and target prospects in the UK and USA using digital techniques.
• Maintain high platform ratings and ensure delivery quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as an online bidder on international freelance portals.
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record of winning bids and achieving sales targets.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple client interactions.
• Confident, proactive and passionate about sales.
