Business Development Executive

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Executive to own our client‑acquisition vertical from start to finish. This remote, full‑time position gives you the freedom to decide which opportunities to pursue, how to position our services, and which channels to leverage.

Key responsibilities

• Identify high‑fit projects on freelance platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, PeoplePerHour) and craft tailored proposals that prioritize conversion over volume.
• Drive lead generation primarily through LinkedIn outreach, while testing additional channels such as cold email, community referrals, and other freelance marketplaces.
• Continuously refine proposal content to improve win‑rate and overall quality.
• Design, implement, and maintain a structured sales pipeline with clear stages, follow‑up sequences, and accurate lead status tracking.
• Manage initial client communications professionally and ensure a smooth hand‑off to the delivery team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven business development experience on freelance platforms with demonstrable won projects.
• Deep understanding of the Upwork algorithm, client intent, and effective proposal strategies.
• Excellent written English with the ability to translate services into clear client value.
• Strong LinkedIn prospecting skills, including personalized outreach and conversation booking.
• Self‑directed, proactive attitude and comfort working with international clients.
