Business Development Executive

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Executive with at least three years of experience in the software or IT services sector. You will be responsible for driving new client acquisition, expanding our presence on freelance platforms, and shaping scalable business development processes.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads through Upwork, LinkedIn, email and creative outreach channels.
• Scale existing Upwork profiles and create new agency profiles from scratch.
• Design winning bidding strategies and improve proposal conversion rates.
• Build and nurture strong client relationships while coordinating with the technical team.
• Test and implement innovative BD strategies beyond the standard playbook.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline with timely follow‑ups.

Required profile

• 3+ years of Business Development experience, preferably in a software/IT services company.
• Proven track record of client acquisition on Upwork and scaling agency profiles.
• Strong proposal writing, client communication and sales strategy abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Basic understanding of software, AI, mobile or web technologies to converse confidently with clients.
• Ownership‑driven mindset with a focus on growth.
