Business Development Executive

About the role

Softpers (Pvt.) Ltd., a Lahore-based software development agency specializing in AI-driven applications, custom software and automation, is looking for a motivated Business Development Executive. The role focuses on lead generation, proposal writing and client communication on LinkedIn and Upwork, working closely with technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients on LinkedIn and Upwork
• Create proposals and bids highlighting technical capabilities and past successes
• Manage initial client conversations, understand requirements and qualify leads
• Maintain and optimize company profiles on LinkedIn and Upwork
• Track leads through the sales funnel using CRM tools
• Work with technical teams to scope projects and prepare proposals
• Build relationships with prospects and existing clients
• Report regularly on outreach, conversion rates and pipeline status

Required profile

• 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales or client acquisition
• Proven track record of generating leads and closing deals on Upwork and/or LinkedIn
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Experience writing winning proposals and client-facing documents
• Resilience, goal orientation and self-motivation in a competitive bidding environment

Required skills

• Understanding of software development lifecycle and tech terminology
• Familiarity with project estimation and scoping
• Knowledge of AI/ML services and modern web technologies is a plus

The position is onsite in DHA Phase 3, Lahore, with a schedule of 5 PM to 2 AM, Tuesday to Saturday.
